About Tenille

Warm and experienced mental health Counsellor certified by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Hi! Welcome.

My name is Tenille and I am the founder of Step Forward Counselling.
I am a warm and compassionate counsellor with excellent listening skills who enjoys getting the opportunity to support my clients to develop strategies to manage their mental health, grow and thrive.

I have experience working with both adults and adolescents, most recently by providing counselling services, consultation and psychoeducation to business owners, their family members and their staff in the wake of the pandemic. Prior to this I provided counselling services to individuals in the Jobactive and Disablity Employment Services Space and was a counsellor at a high school.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Science with a specialisation in Counselling, and have additionally completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Monash University. I am an accredited Crisis Support Worker and a certified member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

I am well versed in several counselling techniques and equipped and qualified to assist with the challenges faced when living with a mental health condition or challenge. I offer professional and inclusive support infused with an authentic, heartfelt and holistic approach that is deeply centred on the individual.

And I very much look forward to speaking with you soon.
