The Step Forward Counselling philosophy is centralised in the Humanistic, Client-Centred Theory and Framework.
As a Tertiary educated and highly experienced mental health clinician I am able to provide a range of services that cater to the needs of a wide variety of individuals. Whatever your struggle or goal, I will provide a safe space for you to explore your experiences, perspectives, thoughts and feelings free from judgement.
I am experienced in and able to utilise methods and strategies from a range of evidence based treatment models, all which are rooted in the latest research. However the interventions we use will be chosen and specifically tailored to you, the individual, and your specific situation.
My primary objective within the counselling space is to create a judgement free zone in which my clients feel safe enough to deeply explore themselves, whereby alleviating their distress, and making room for them to build a stable, sturdy and grounded sense of self.
This lays the foundations for positive self-regard to blossom, and for a sense of direction and purpose to grow.
